SMART to hold Board of Directors Meeting via Zoom teleconference

Petaluma, CA— The Board of Directors of the Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District (SMART) will hold their upcoming meeting via Zoom teleconference in response to local and state shelter-in-place orders and social distancing protocols. SMART Board meetings will continue to be held as a teleconference until the shelter-in-place orders are lifted.

 

 

The SMART Board of Directors Meeting on April 15, 2020 will begin at 1:30 PM.  Members of the public will have several options to watch and participate in the meeting. Please see the instructions on how to participate

The Board Meeting Agenda is already available online along with instructions on how to participate via a remote connection. During the meeting, residents will be able to participate in public comment on non-agenda items, as well as comment on specific agenda items as audience members in the Zoom teleconference, or they can elect to submit written comments prior the meeting.  All comments received will become part of the meeting’s public record.

SMART is governed by a 12-member Board consisting of elected officials appointed: two county supervisors each from Marin and Sonoma counties, three appointed City Council members from each county, and two representatives from the Golden Gate Bridge District.
